Over the past three years, Prevention Institute (PI) has worked to strengthen the relevance and effectiveness of public health strategies to advance racial justice and health equity within the field. Building Bridges. Building Bridges 2.0 presents foundational principles of health equity and racial justice, as well as their role in data / evidence and community engagement. The four modules include examples, activities, discussion questions, and resources to facilitate deeper learning on these topics. This resource and accompanying facilitation guide (download on the right) will best serve public health and racial / social justice organizations who are looking to effectively align and integrate issues of equity and racial justice.

The Timeline of Resistance is an interactive presentation tool that uncovers the social justice roots of the field of public health, explores historical and contemporary racial justice movements, and provides strategies for the field to reclaim its social justice origins.
